Dr. Vasiliki Georgiopoulou, physician and Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing, visited our private students, on Monday, March 16. We became familiar with medical terminology, related to the respiratory system, and learned how to “read” an X-ray. We played with cards and engaged in role-playing games (doctor–patient and pharmacist–patient). The students had prepared questions about asthma, snoring, allergies, and more, and received valuable answers from the doctor.
We would like to warmly thank Ms. Georgiopoulou for her willingness to introduce us to medical terminology, as well as our instructor, Mr. Dimitris Stafidas, for his excellent initiative in inviting her.
